The culinary strength of this area has become legendary – exquisite wine, rich fruit juice, schnapps, cider and ham variations – you name it. Lava beer is hand brewed according to ancient tradition. Its light colour is achieved by a particularly high proportion of wheat malt.
The volcanic soil of the area is perfect ground for different types of exquisite wine: Weissburgunder, Grauburgunder, Chardonnay and Blauer Zweigelt. For “Eruption”, a special, recently created wine brand, only the ripest grapes grown in best location are used.
Volcano ham preserves its tender taste as only salt, pepper and smoke are used for its long maturation.
