Our range includes 140 chocolate creations with over 90 different flavours. Whether it be apricot, ginger, coffee, mustard, sunflower seed in combination with brown rye bread, there are no limits to individual taste. I trained as chef and confectioner. Since 1987 I have been inventing new chocolate compositions together with my wife Ulrike. We have come up with inimitable delicacies which have become part of the culinary highlights of Austria.

If you would like to know more about chocolate just visit our chocolate factory in Bergl. Come and inhale the unique atmosphere of chocolate production. Taste Zotter chocolate and learn why we love chocolate and how varied it can be. We’ll share the secrets of chocolate making with you and will let you gain insight into the history of chocolate which dates back about 1,000 years. You will see that modernity and tradition, regionality and internationality as well as economy and sustainability can exist side by side and fall on fertile ground without excluding each other. From fair trade to regional partnerships, chocolate does not only offer palatal pleasure but also interesting conversation topics.

For visiting tours please register in advance. No minimum number of visitors required. Rate per person, chocolate consumption included: Adults: € 5;- Children from 7 to 15: € 2,50 Duration of visit: approx. one hour
For hygienic reasons tours of the production rooms are only possible on open days.
Opening hours of our chocolate store: Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm Saturday: 9am to 5pm
From mid June until end of August we don’t produce chocolate due to higher outside temperatures.
