Life Medicine Resort – The Kurhaus Bad Gleichenberg
The Kurhaus Bad Gleichenberg can pride itself on state-of-the-art therapy facilities. Its greatest novelty is the cold chamber which soothes the pain of rheumatism and sports injuries. In this therapy, patients move at a temperature of -110°C for about two to three minutes under constant supervision of trained staff. The cold therapy provides instant pain relief for about two to three hours.
Another facility in the Kurhaus is the therapy pool with its glass walls which make observation and guidance of patient movement possible. The Kurhaus also provides bathing, massage and inhalation rooms as well as dermatological treatments.
The new life resort spa pool has a surface area of 2,500m² and consists of an indoor and outdoor pool with spacious relaxation areas. Adjacent to the spa pool, there is the light-flooded spa world with Finnish sauna, thermal sauna, sole steam baths, ice grotto, cold water pools, sun beds and infrared cabins. A private and lady’s sauna with its own indoor and outdoor relaxation area is also equipped with an integrated fire place and an outdoor whirl pool.
