The area of Bad Radkersburg – Lake and Hill country
The area surrounding Bad Radkersburg consists of eleven communities cradled in gentle hills, vineyards and small lakes far off the beaten track where you can still enjoy peace and quiet in its purest form. For those who like swimming Lake Röcksee is the best choice with a surface area of 7 hectares for swimming and an even bigger area for fishing. The average temperature of the lake is a pleasant 27°C. If you prefer an outdoor swimming pool, you have got the choice between the swimming pool in Mureck and the one in St. Peter am Ottersbach. Additional sports facilities include: mini golf course, climbing wall, beach volley ball courts, tennis courts both indoor and outdoor, football pitch, model plane ground, asphalt curling, nature trails, speedway tracks and canoeing on the River Mur.
