Additionally numerous riding clubs await horse lovers, wonderful hiking paths mountain lovers and many cycle paths bikers. The fact that a golf course can be found close to most spas almost goes without saying.
The picture in the country at the foot of the Alps is one of unspoilt nature and peace.
But that’s not all: Slovenia is also a country in motion – a country for sport and recreational fun. The Slovenians were the first Central Europeans to use skis and it therefore comes as no surprise that there are numerous well equipped ski centres. What’s more, Slovenia also provides all manner of active holiday opportunities in the spring, summer and autumn.
To be found within the Slovenian tourist centres, in particular the health spas, are sports halls and sports grounds dedicated to all manner of ball games, amongst others tennis- and squash courts. Fitness rooms and – gyms are just as much a part of the standard services available in the health spas as well as of the services offered in the numerous hotels. Water sports lovers are enthusiastic about the diversity found in the Slovenian lakes, rivers and the ocean.
